Applications Open: Global Student Innovation Challenge powered by PDMA

It's time to showcase your brilliance and make a mark on the global stage! PDMA's Global Student Innovation Challenge 2025 submission portal is open and ready to receive your innovation ideas. We encourage students to submit projects created through academic work, including capstone projects or theses. You can review the rules and guidelines of the challenge as well as videos of the winning teams from previous years below. Please thoroughly review the rubric to ensure you are meeting all the criteria. For general questions, please review the FAQs on the website. Submissions accepted now through June 1st.

Featured Alumni Entrepreneurs: Marjorie Perry – CEO & President, MZM Construction & Management, Chuck Daniels – Founder, Tech Innovator, and Joe Oliviera – Workshop Manager and Engineer at HAX/SOSV. Applications Open: Debut Challenge

The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) and VentureWell have come together to support and expand the Design by Biomedical Undergraduate Teams (DEBUT) Challenge, a competition that recognizes undergraduate excellence in biomedical design and innovation. DEBUT challenges teams of students in undergraduate biomedical education to solve real-world problems in healthcare. Prizes of up to $20,000 will be awarded! Application deadline is June 18th. DEBUT is open to undergraduate students only.

Kean Business Plan Competition

Hey Future Innovators! Are you brimming with ideas that could change the world? Got a business concept that’s been simmering in your mind? It’s time to bring those ideas to life! We’re thrilled to invite applications for our "NextGen Innovators Track" in our Annual Business Plan Competition. No Business? No Problem! You don’t need an established business to apply. Just an idea and the passion to pursue it. Registration deadline is Feb 13. The first part submission that is due by 2/13 requires the student/team to submit the first 3 boxes of the business model canvas (Problem, Solution and UVP). The submission needs to be emailed to bizplan@kean.edu . If they are selected to advance beyond the first stage, the final submission requires completing all the boxes of the business model canvas.

Rice Business Plan Competition

Rice University, Houston, TX

Hosted and organized by the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, which is Rice University's internationally-recognized initiative devoted to the support of entrepreneurship, and Rice Business, the Rice Business Plan Competition offers an educational program mirroring real-world experience through this multi-day event for student startups from across the world. Student founders pitch to investors, receive feedback and advance their startup. There is also significant time designated for interaction with our judges and prize sponsors—providing valuable access and experience with both early-stage and later-stage investors. e-Fest: Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Competition

Minneapolis, MN

e-Fest® is an action-packed three-day celebration of undergraduate entrepreneurship featuring workshops, networking and three separate competitions awarding over $220K in cash prizes. Finalist teams’ network with the top student entrepreneurs from across the nation, promote their businesses to news organizations across the country, attend development workshops by industry leaders, and take home a portion of over $220,000 in cash prizes! Students will participate in multiple competitions over the three-day event – the Pitch Slam!, the Innovation Challenge, and finally, the Schulze Entrepreneurship Challenge.
